Your data rights
You decide what happens to the information you share with us. Tell us what you would like us to do and we will act on it, free of charge.
What you can ask for
- A copy of your data — a summary of what we hold about you, why we hold it, and who we have shared it with.
- Correction — fix anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Erasure — delete your enquiry and the details attached to it.
- Withdraw consent — stop us contacting you or processing your information. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and costs nothing.
- Raise a grievance — if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data.
Withdrawing consent does not undo anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it, and we may keep the minimum needed to meet a legal obligation — for example a tax record of a payment you made. We will tell you if that applies to you.
How we verify it is you
We ask a person to check every request rather than acting on it automatically. A form that deleted or disclosed records from an email address alone would let anyone destroy or read someone else's medical enquiry. We may ask you for one piece of information that matches what we already hold. We aim to respond within 30 days.
